About Us
The teaching staff at Piper Early Childhood Center are certified teachers with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
We provide general education and special education students with an inclusion model. We have ESOL endorsed teachers, speech pathologist, occupational therapist and physical therapist onsite for students who qualify.
Our school uses the Kansas Early Learning Standards to guide our instruction along with the Connect 4 Learning curriculum. The curriculum includes literacy, math, science, social studies, as well as social emotional skills. The curriculum is embedded through play. Each class has circle time, table time, centers, Kindermusik lesson, outdoor play, and outdoor learning.
Our students will be Kindergarten ready by the time they exit our program. We report progress quarterly. We also have parent/teacher conferences in the fall and spring. We follow the school district schedule.
